Marie Flanigan Interiors
April 2018
I was contacted by Megan Hotze, Marketing Director of Marie Flanigan Interiors, and was asked if I'd be able to donate a small artwork for this years' Design On A Dime benefit in New York. I was of course honored and jumped at the chance to be a part of such a great event. From their blog: "Founded in 2004, Design on a Dime is sponsored by Hearst Design Group and challenges interior designers to create unique room vignettes curated with donated merchandise from respected home décor collections and artists. Less than 100 designers are invited to participate in the event and, this year, we’re one of them!" Pieces in each vignette are bought by event attendees, with proceeds going to Housing Works, a non-profit healing community headquartered in NYC that is working tirelessly to end the dual crises of AIDS and homelessness throughout the country.
After receiving a studio visit from Marie Flanigan and Megan, they selected a small work of mine for their vignette. It was a great experience and privilage to work with them while, at the same time, being able to help such a great cause. A complete list of businesses, galleries and other donors are listed below.
